Am contributing stories, essays, photos, and multimedia to national and local outlets, including: Esquire, This American Life, The Christian Science Monitor, Nightline, Marketplace, The Boston Globe Magazine, Grist, Mother Earth News, Longshot!, WABE-Atlanta Public Radio, and WYPR-Baltimore Public Radio. Also edited Acts of Witness, the magazine of the Ochberg Society for Trauma Journalism, and created “Little Bill Clinton,” an award-winning experiment in real-time, narrative storytelling that I designed and reported for The Christian Science Monitor.

Reported, wrote, edited, and shot photos for news and feature stories, editorials, opinion columns, book reviews and travel pieces from across the US for Boston-based national daily newspaper, and produced audio for its website. Covered the 10th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide for the Monitor, the Houston Chronicle and KUOW-Seattle.
